Brugarolas, S.A. is a chemical company with a long background and constant development in the field of research and production of process lubricants and products.

Faithful to its philosophy based on accumulating experience and knowledge through recruitment of the human resources and purchase of the required technology, Brugarolas, S.A. has been progressing continuously and is working to achieve its primary objective: to offer maximum quality. Time and dedication have forged a company wich is capable of meeting with its products the needs of many segments of the industry and to fulfil rigorously the demands of the competitive global market.

A thousand pesetas of capital, the effort and dedication of Miguel Brugarolas Bofill, with office in the Ronda de Sant Pere of Barcelona, served in 1885 as the point of departure for Brugarolas' path.

The rapid growth of the commercial and production activities of the company favoured, in 1915, the opening of the first factory in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. It was expropiated by Campsa in 1928 as a result of the nationalization of the Spanish petroleum sector, and replaced by a newly-constructed factory to carry on activities other than those of the Monopoly.

The uninterrupted and spectacular evolution of the company, which since 1949 has been using the current name of Brugarolas, S.A., led in 1974 to the transfer of all activities to the modern facilities at Rubí, where the company Brugarolas Distribución, Brudisa was formed in 1985.

After four generations, Brugarolas, S.A. is still making efforts to continue this upward trend begun in the last century.
